Despite a brave effort against a superior Lawton FC team, Sildegapet FC crashed out of the New Comers Challenge Cup.

Within ten minutes the home side had taken the lead when Data Dzodzuashvili pounced on a lucky break and curled the ball into the far corner from the edge of the penalty area. The home side seemed to grow and threatened to score a second but a swift counter attack saw Ramona latch onto a through and smash home.
Sildegapet retook the lead when Dzodzuashvili's shot was well saved but Ofstad followed home to poke home from close range. A surge in pressure for the away side gave Topiarz, their top goal scorer an unmissable chance which he duly took. With extra time looming, Topiarz took a shot from range and found the back of the net to break Sildegapet fans hearts.

The whites though have responded positively to the loss, winning their next three league games 7-0, 0-4 and 0-2. This leaves them on 15 points, the same number of points as their greatest rival. There is no difference between the two sides with both teams having scored the same number if goals.
