Transfer news

Sildegapet FC have been making use of their transfer budget to boost their squad before their return to the Swedish leagues.

Gilam Yakobovitch, Vincentas Juknius and Kalu Bada were all released by the club.

Meanwhile the club also bought five players to help move the club on.

First on our books was a new keeper. Klaas Mullenhoff is a highly talented 24 year old German and is looking to finally settle down. He has taken the number 21 shirt.

Xun Chin (21) and Luvsan Turtogtokh (25) have both come in to help improve the defence, which is occasionally more frail that would be ideal.

Pari Shareef (25) has also been hired to improve the defensive line, but he is not afraid of coming forward, so should provide some excitement for the Sildegapet FC fans.

And finally, our new number 10. A shirt number left empty since Hans Imfeld left the club over 50 seasons ago. Imfeld racked up 1005 goals in 878 matches for the whites, whilst all the previous wearers have gone on to become legends at the club; Maccarron, Egido, Andre Guttenberger, Josef Kiestra, Wilfredo Duce and Lars Riise to name but a few. The name facing the media is Norwegian forward Hallstein Sverre. The 21 will be given time to prove himself and he is confident he can produce despite the history that goes with the number.

We look forward to all of the new signings playing for the cottagers and look forward to a new era.
