Targeting Division 5?

A couple of seasons ago Britton believed that Sildegapet could once again reach division 5. Indeed it looked that way two seasons ago when Sildegapet finished 3rd with 63 points, a very respectable finish with promotion looked upon as almost certain the next season. However, Sildegapet managed to slip from first with eight games to play to third, with just 7 points from the last seven games to finish on 63 points. Sildegapet have never regained the that took them to third and with the injuries, they have not looked a side that could even threaten the promotion battle. Instead they lie in eighth position although they are likely to slip into tenth place. This season has shown to Britton that, even though he can often play his first eleven, there is a lack of depth to Sildegapet once injuries take over. Surely he must act on this to hope to push Sildegapet up. To bring in a new lease of life he should sell the older players like Egido and bring in a new midfielder for players such as Dillon Wymers. He has a promising base to work with, Felicien Valcke, the 21 Belgian has proved to be a wise choice and always livens up the game and creates chances. However, Valcke still needs to be nurtured and he is not yet ready to take the central midfield role. Britton has a difficult choice ahead of him. If he picks and older player then Valke could possibly leave the club as he has already expressed his desire to play down the middle. However a younger player would not do either as Valcke still needs a year to grow used to the captaincy that he could be left with if Severin Høgnesen is sold.
