Is this the season with a chance of promotion that Sildegapet will be promoted. After coming 9th last season and having a poor start to this one, Sildegapet have found some magic and are currently placed 2nd although they could theoretically still finish very low down. However, they have the chance to be promoted as long as they beat promotion contenders Pick of the Potters. Both managers have put themselves into the underdog position but saying that they can certainly win. Britton told the Press that the squad of The Pick of the Potters was better than his own although an upset was certainly available. Certainly the Pick of the Potters are the bookies favourite but the Potter's Manager told the Press that the close proximity and the fanatical support Sildegapet recieved by their supporters, made any game played at the Cottage a difficult one and that they will have the edge especially with their confidence running so high. The Pick of the Potters have one game to play beforehand against The Brian Brigade who should give them a hard time as the Brian Brigade are fighting for League survival. However the odds are that the Pick of the Potters will have the edge over the Brian Brigade and should come away with a win. Beverly Gentry should also return to the side to play Sildegapet and has passed a late fitness test to play the Brian Brigade. This will be his first return to the Cottage where he played 50 games for Sildegapet before the relationship between Britton and Gentry fell down. His role in the midfield could decide the outcome of the game and has been pinpointed as their key man this season. The battle between him and Askar Bakhtavar who returned from injury at the beginning of this season will be key to the outcome of the match. Askar Bakhtavar missed the first trip to the Potter's Stadium due to injury where Gentry dominated the midfield and the Pick of the Potters won. This time a more even battle shall ensue.
