Written 19 October 2011, 19:38

Sildegapet marched into the 6th round of the Svenska Cupen today, beatin division 3 side Team Monty 1-0 away from home. Sildegapet took the early initiative and had an early chance through Askar Bakhtavar in just the 2nd minute, but the shot went wide. However, the whites early pressure paid off as Bramati managed to lob both a keeper and a defender to open the scoring. Wanting revenge, Shahrzad Torialaye and Batjargal Murat had one on one chances within the next five minutes, but Pierce Cole kept the visitors in front with two stunning saves. Askar Bakhtavar had a long range effort that beat Monty’s keeper but hit the cross bar. Shahrzad Torialaye and Faruk Cavour both had long distance shots as well. But Sildegapet held on until the break. Even though Team monty had 8 shots Sildegapet held them off. Even though Britton was very pleased ot beat Team Monty, he explained that players such as Jonathan Maccarron, Bragi Vignir and Askar Bakhtavar were feeling tired. This could cause a sudden winless streak with Sildegapet already having played 23 matches without even half the season elapsing. Britton could find he suffers at the end of the season.
