Winners of last seasons PbPD, Dogs Athletico, who broke the league highest scorers record to win the title last season, look forward to a new campaign in the very near future, where they will look to become the first side to ever retain the league title. On their side, they have fearsome home form at Kennelside, and an attacking force that is the envy of the league, but despite this, several of the top sides will be looking to etch their names on the league trophy. It promises to be another tight season at the top end, the top seven or eight are very difficult to split on paper, so Athletico will need all their attacking prowess to keep a hold on the honour of being Champions, especially as everyone and their mate will be looking to claim the scalp of beating the title holders. Top striker Pepper, will be looking to win the league Golden Boot for the seventh season running, and beat his record of fifty in a season.
