Transition

Written 17 November 2013, 08:32

Dynamo Groby have issued a short statement today, following a spell of fluctuations in performance that have seen some fans question the direction the club is heading in.

The board of directors wish to point out that whilst the performance of the team may not seem to be as high or consistent as it may have been just a short while ago, the club is better off now than it has ever been. Dynamo are running at a stable profit level, whilst working on improvement of facilities at Vale Park.
"We've been able to expand the stadium, and improve the training ground, so that we're on a more solid foundation for the future of the club, whilst still providing a competitive side to represent Dynamo Groby throughout. This achievement deserves more recognition that we feel the fans are giving to everyone at the club, to us the directors, through the management team and trainers, the players, and even the tea lady. Whilst we understand the fans have been frustrated, we cannot change the basis for the successful running of our club on a mere whim. The project here remains on course to achieve higher than before in the future."

Club Manager, Russell, was also present at the release of the statement to the media, and had the following to add.
"The team is going well, but we're still in transition, following some high profile retirements, and the squad rejig that was necessary to upgrade the training facilities we have here at Vale Park. We are all working hard to get the best results for the team, both on and off the pitch, but this period of transition will continue for a little while yet, as we continue to work hard building for a successful future for the club. The level of performance the team is giving, despite these more difficult times, is a testament to the hard work we all put in to keep this project running."
