Dynamo Roll On

Written 25 July 2021, 21:03

Today we can confirm, that having given the situation some deep thought and explored the options available, we will be continuing with the Finnish Project. The club would like to thank all who have supported us on this long term project so far, and all who will do so in the future. There are times where it will be tough. There are times when it may seem impossible. But as a club, we have risen to such occasions before, and overturned the odds time and time again. At the moment, we are experiencing unprecedented success with the senior team, having this year added a Greek Cup, Danish Cup and US Cup to the trophy cabinet, as well as reaching several more finals and challenging for the top honours on a couple of occasions in the Greek and Turkish league. We hope this run of success continues, but the time will come when we have to renew and reset the club to build again, and we may need to have a spell of solid building again to do so. Everyone involved with the club will work as hard as they can and pull together to make every effort to continue to be successful for as long as possible.

As a secondary statement, the club would like to thank long serving defender Tero Matinsalo for his services. The 35 year old Club Captain came through the Dynamo Groby youth system, and worked his way up through the youth development programme, representing his country at all age levels, and making more than 2,500 appearances for Dynamo. Both club and player have decided that it is time to part ways when Tero's contract expires in the coming season. Everyone at Dynamo would like to wish Tero all the best for his future.
