It's a historic day for the club as Osbaston Tigers claim their first ever Top Division Title. Never in the history of the club, in either the Dynamo era or the Tigers time has the club ever managed to claim a top division title, despite a few near misses. Until now. Today, it has been confirmed that this season finally puts that to bed as in a close run title race, Tigers have held their nerve to clinch the crown.
The manager has issued the following statement:

"Today we've made history as a club. It's made me especially proud, it's been a long time coming and we've had some very close calls to claiming a title prior to this. Just last season, we had the title within our grasp and in our control and we failed to hold our nerve and get the results when it mattered most. That could have affected the lads, the whole club could have suffered a hangover from it. But we've shown real bottle, we've dusted ourselves off and gone again, pushed on and managed to secure it this season. It's fantastic for the club, the fans and everyone who has supported us on the journey. Today is for celebration. It's a phenomenal achievement and to put the cherry on the top, the boys have brought home the Turkish Cup as well, winning against our closest title rivals in the final."
