The season has gone well and a 12 match win streak almost guarenteed promotion but I still want first. The in streak ended with a 3-1 loss to current 4th in the league, who has a strong youth team. This left me 3 points off top with 9 matches to go, until the same team which shocked me with a draw at the start of the season shocked top. The seventh place team got a 0-0 draw and now I am left 1 point down with 6 games to go. Yesterday I was 9 points up on third place with 8 matches left and thought I could almost certainly get the 5 wins I had against weaker teams and get promoted on goal difference but this morning my team showed signs of weaknesses when we came back from 2-1 down in both our matches and in one of them needed 2 goal in the last 7 minutes and a last goal seconds before full time. I don't know what went wrong in those matches as they were against 10th place and 15th place but I hope it was something to do with their team rather than mine as I have been dominating the previous few matches, which included two 10-0 victories. There are three crucial matches left to the season 1 against top and if I can win it (or even draw it) I think I can get promotion. Another is against third place, a win there would confirm promotion. The final important is against a strong fourth place side. All 3 wins and winning the ones I expect to win would give me first place. So I expect to be in division 5 next season.
