We finished last season with a pleasing tenth, which could have been higher, if not for some late poor displays. Unfortunately today, after the first day of the new season, we are rock bottom with -7 goal difference after 4 games. No things aren't as bad as they look. We lost all four matches to the top 4 of the league at the moment and almost beat one of them, if not for the heroics of the opponent's keeper, receiving man of the match as well. We have conceded an average of 1.75 goals per match, which is not bad when playing the top four, unfortunately our matches aren't going to get easier for a while as out next matches are against 5th and 7th. This is going to be a long season and a big relegation battle... But to try to prevent this we have signed a new FL and DR to support the defensive and offensive capabilities of the squad and spent 230,000 for them. This uses up all our profit from last season but we hope that they will help us avoid relegation.
