Bratt quits as manager, appoints Marcovicci

Today, it can be confirmed by the club that owner Ali Bratt has stepped back from management duties at East Hertfordshire FC. He said briefly 'It is time for me to step back from management of the club and focus on ownership of the club' he added that he has appointed former East Hertfordshire player and trainer Gilberto Marcovicci as club manager. Bratt added 'I'm delighted to welcome Gilberto back to the club, he has been a major part of EHFC since joining us as a player then as an offense coach. I am thrilled he has agreed to become our new manager and wish him all the best'

Gilberto Marcovicci was a MO in his playing days and played 103 matches for EHFC scoring 31 goals and getting 37 assists during his time as a player, he then spent a few seasons as offensive trainer after retiring from playing before leaving the club. On his return as manager Gilberto said 'i am delighted to be appointed manager of East Hertfordshire, this club has been so good to me and i really enjoyed playing for this club and i look forward to building on what Ali did as manager with this young squad i believe we can do great things and am honored to be given this opportunity to be part of it'
