Reports in East Cambridgeshire are thought to believe that City of Ely f.c are set to sign a new sponsorship deal with UniSport worth 25,000 C a season. The deal will last five seasons which will beat the clubs record sponsor deal which was worth 20,000 C a season, but since some consistent seasons in Division 5, the deal has been beaten by 5,000 C, and the total deal will be worth a whopping 125,000 C, plus a potential 75,000 C in bonuses over those five seasons.

Club chairman, John.W.Henry said: "We are glad to extend our sponsorship deal with Unisport by a further five seasons, as it brings in a crucial amount of income for the club to spend on new facilities and players. This short-term investment will only build the club stronger."
