Ely boss, Brendan Rodgers has confirmed the signings of three new players who joined the club on free transfers worth 15,000 C.

Huntley Bassett, Abba Schlesinger, and Joon-sup Lyoo were the three new signings who all signed three-year contracts, and they have already made their debuts for the club this season and have made a big impression on the fans.

The club's official fan club announced that the three new signings got 94% of votes, which said that they all played outstanding on their debuts.

The club signed these players on the cheap as the team's budget was reduced to 20,000 C, due to financial difficulties which is caused by 1.5 million credits to be spent on new training facilities which will be built at the end of next season.

Club manager, Brendan Rodgers had this to say:

"I'm glad we brought these new signings in as they are quality players and give their all in every game. They have all started really well on their debuts, with some greatly connected passes, and some decent assists and runs which has only made this team stronger. Obviously, we had three big name players retire from the club recently, and since the club is having financial difficulty, we had to find cheap, but quality replacements, in which we have done thanks to our scouting network."
