City of Ely boss, Brendan Rodgers has expressed his desire to win next seasons league title by going to the press.

"Next season is a year we want to win the league! We have funds to spend next year and I will look to build the squad up in preperation for the new season, and I will make sure we challenge for that title."

Brendan Rodgers, who has already won a shocking 20 titles with Ely, has a £40,000 a season contract which runs out next season.

"I have already won 20 titles with this club, but I want to add more to the clubs cabinet!"

"We will invest around an extra 300,000 credits and sign 30 year olds which can bring quick success to the club and drive us into Division 4 and make club history, by doing so. The team will go down in history if we reach Division 4 which has never happened at this club. I will bring division 4 football to this club!"
