One season takes one week, from Sunday at 23:00 to the following Sunday at 16:00 (GMT). This means that the game is very fast paced. The match schedule for each season is created every Sunday evening.
Upon signup, new managers take over an existing ( "bot" ) club which has been controlled by a computer so far. This means that a new manager gets straight into the game and plays matches on the first day.
