It is with deep regret that we have to announce that the club has this week taken the decision to terminate our membership of the VIFA Virtual Manager league structure. The club has made advanced payments which mean that we will remain active members until early March 2014. The fans can rest assured that during this period we will be functioning as normal and doing all we can to go out on a high.

The decision was an easy one following recently introduced changes to the way the organisation runs on a day to day basis. The manager and staff are just not happy with the new format and are no longer enjoying the game in its new guise.

On a more positive note training levels this week have been excellent. The new individual record attained last week by Roland von Wollheim (7.27) was eclipsed by Miroslaw Bujak who hit a massive 7.38. On the same day, 2 other players achieved scores above 7 and the team average was a record obliterating 5.35.

The youngsters this week went one better than last week by finishing 7th in division 5 Germany. This was enough to trigger a sponsorship bonus payment of 35k and prize money of 17.6k.

This week the club has struggled financially. A total income of just 1.5m was only enough to clear just over 1m profit for the season. This brings the clubs balance up to 14m which is slightly behind the long term plan originally agreed.

Given the clubs impending departure from the competition the board have set a target of 50m following selling the clubs players in March. We would then upgrade the clubs training complex to a Professional Training Facility before mothballing them without using them.

And finally, congratulations to Stu Comfort on being awarded player of the season by his fellow professionals. Stu scored 27 goals this season in a mid table team and featured in every single game for the full 90 minutes. When presented with the award Stu had this to say 'at the end of the day, it goes dark'.

No mate, I'm leaving in March and never coming back. I' not enjoying the game sine the recent 'upgrade' and when they convert over to the new stat system its going to be even worse. My premium is canceled but I have paid up to March so I'm going to cary on until it runs out then I'm off to pastures new.
