Hazwoo Watezini updates us on the latest news for the club after an encouraging start to the season

After securing a solid 4 points from the first 4 games, United have won two on the bounce and find themselves back in contention near the top of the league with 10 points from 6 games.

"It was obviously a bit of a sluggish first few games. But that is to be expected, a slight team re-shuffle and a few new faces are just settling in. I've been pleased with the performances of the lads and the flow of our play is certainly looking good".

Watezini was actively involved in this summers transfer window. A huge 1.62 million credit signing of Harald Schollin has strengthened the backline, alongside the loan signing of Ilido Kikas with a view for a permanent deal at 740,000 credits. In midfield, the impressive Anier Salva has been signed after impressing hugely in Brazil for a bargain 1,100,000 credits, and Lau Sivkjaer has been recruited for 1.25m to help bolster the defence.

Fans favourite Cyprian Gruca has moved on loan away from the club prompting praise from Watezini for his "extremely positive and committed" service to the club. Also moving on were Argus Pallis and Liewe Van Hoojdink, for a combined fee of around 1.9 million credits, the club wishes them both the best for the future.

The youth team have 5 games lined up for the season and new captain Benjamin Mocho is looking forward to leading the team with Piniero, Pavoni, Totti and Guerini as vice captains. Idzi Krasicki is excelling in his first team role for the moment.

United have a tricky away tie this afternoon at La Liga club SM Club in the cup and are hoping to pull off an unlikely victory.

As well as that there are 2 league games this afternoon and a further 2 this evening. All matches will be shown on Trufflers TV.
