Paying for youth squads?

When did they change it that we had to pay £3.49 for youth squads, and can we no longer train any youth players without paying?

Of course you can, no one is limiting the first team, only youth squad is limited to accept U23 players. This change was done around april this year maybe? Check the blog under Community section

I think my premium renewed today which must be why
