Should not VM notify us when Someone outbids us

I just missed out on this wonderful 43 rated 29 year old DC By a Flick

Now I have to sign some older DC
I had the money to outbid the other guy But I did not know when someone outbidded me.
I guess They should notify us about these things which is more important than to know that Our Support Ticket has been answered(I am not saying that there is a harm in it but this is way more important than that right)

You have an autobid, if you was willing to pay more, why did you not put that in your autobid?

And if you know you're buying a player, then you keep checking anyway.

No need for a notification if you play the game right.
