There's is always roughly a 3 minute delay to training after 11pm - sometimes it take a minute or 2 to boost all the players' energy by 10%.

It’s actually 5 minutes after daily reset that you can train. It happens the same every single day

I think another user previously mentioned that looking at this page: https://www.virtualmanager.com/cups and selecting the nation with the lowest prize money is a good indicator as to which country is easiest. Of course the difficulty will always change as people move nations and it will vary by each group. Generally I think England and Denmark are (or at least were) the most difficult leagues by virtue of having more clubs in those countries.
