Moving between youth & senior with full squad

Hi,

Is there any way to move/swap players in my youth and senior squad when both teams are full? Or must I sell/release a player to open up a free slot in order to do this?

Out of curiosity what happens when a youth player turns 24 and is no longer eligible for the youth squad? Do they automatically get moved to the senior squad, what happens if the senior team is full?

Yes he does.
And then, you can not sign any more players.
- but you could then move a n other youth down to the youth squad
