Hard to say when the best time to sell is, obviously when he's 24 he will get moved to your senior squad and will want to play games, if he isn't good enough for your first team at that time you will have to put him on as a sub which could weaken your team ....so it may be advisable to sell him before that? If you want to keep him longer then best time to sell would be before the stat decline kicks in and definitely before it's possible for him to retire
