Pitches. Talk to me. Please?

Is the only benefit of having a better pitch a reduction in injuries or is there also some hidden benefit?

I quite like the idea of having a nice stadium but a terrible pitch.

Pitch:
It is possible to upgrade your pitch.
Each upgrade of the pitch lowers the chances of your players getting injured.
Each level provides a 2% reduction.
A level 6 pitch will reduce your players' chances of getting injured by 10%.

No additional benefits that I'm aware of.

Can't remember if i've ever seen the answer somewhere, but is the higher % chance of injury for both teams? I would presume so, but was just wondering.

Well, as the teams have their own Stadiums and therefore Pitches,
and the pitch Upgrade screen for the Youth Stadium has the same info on upgrade %age,
I'd say that adequately answers that smiley

Im assuming if you are playing away on a cowfield your lovely pitch back home counts for nothing

So do I have a moral duty to provide a decent pitch so none of us have injured players?

I reckon it isn't factored in for the away team, is it?

Only you can decide upon your "moral duties" in respect of a computer game smiley

and whilst that's an interesting question, I believe the answer is no.
I can't imagine that the pitch quality has any affect on the away team. But, I don't know for sure.

If people can't take a serious approach to a computer game then there's no hope for humanity.

I don't muck about at work all day just to come home to fun and games.
