Have you got the highest points for a second place finisher, as the stat on the original post is bound to be wrong - I think you can have someone with a lot higher than 72 points finishing 2nd

Thanks and welcome back! I've just recorded all the data (for top divisions only) but only trawled through the points I posted above - though annoyingly the pictures hosted on imgur are not visible any more in the UK (online safety act?).

I'm happy to share a link to the dropbox with csv files for each country/leagues historical data if your interested?

So true! Over a decade on the game now and there are still little quirks/features (albeit probably not too significant yet interesting) I find out about every now and then.

Very tight relegation battle there. Hope you don't feel too guilty about sending him down

Haven't had a look at his tactics/fixtures but yeah thats a very strong (and not even excessively old squad) to get relegated.

Scottish PL has gotten much stronger recently ...

That leaves me feeling slightly fragile thinking of future seasons
