Scouts make guesses on a players' hidden potential. The more trainings they have, up to their first 40-60 trains, the more likely scouts are to accurately pinpoint their potential.
So at the moment, as there is so little training data, there is likely to be a range of different scout feedback, in this case promising-formidable. I've seen some examples over the course of 5 trains, scouts have come back with all of: reasonable, promising, formidable and enormous for the same player.
You also need to understand a scouts abilities when it comes to youth potential. 20 is obviously ideal and anything below that has a surprisingly sharp decrease in % accuracy of the reports they provide. I am trying to find the information in the Danish forums but there is at the very least a 10+% drop in the potential accuracy of a scout report from a 20 rating down to a 19.

Sorry just checked mine did say formidable not promising. Still about 10-15m though I’d say. Yes the fact he was created just before last Sunday explains why he had has his real value. Thanks
