Agree….take it a step further don’t can only be some players that are “utility” players, where they can be either mid/forwards or mid/def…either as central or wide…& even the odd central def/forward (e.g.Sutton/Dublin for those who know UK leagues).
Also players changing for when red cards occur… bring the game more into line with IRL situations.
Even add an extra layer where additional orders has another page for setting up at set pieces & corners…where there is actual formations to attack & defend…allowing to place attackers & mids in/around the box for those moments. Allows for teams to win balls & counter attack from a set piece. Maybe even have orders for set pieces moments where you choose to hit on break, hold ball, etc.
