Got to say I miss a few every month but just wondered if that's the norm

I think i probably miss 2 or 3 a year, oddly seems to coincide with hangovers...bizarre.

I try not to miss them does anyone have any tips on how to create talented players? i've got a large training facility with 2 trainers coming in, is the best training method a training match on extreme intensity ? thanks

I'd avoid extreme trains. Depletes energy and doesn't show true potential. Maybe limit extreme trains to 1 or 2 a week when you can rebuild the energy.

I tend to stick to hard or less other than a Saturday night when I whack an extreme train in knowing the energy will go up at the Sunday update..

Someone with more experience can probably give you better advice but I'm running the same ground and have a lot of talents that are holding their distinction at the moment

On the training subject, what is taken into account to boost value of 15 year old youths.

Is it training? Attributes? Rating? Or a combo of all mentioned?

I have decided to try my hand at youth development but my players aren't gaining much value in comparison to some that get the "jumps".

Any help is appreciated as I've ploughed alot of money into the youths I have purchased and don't want to destroy them.

The value of 15-17 year olds are HEAVILY influenced by potential. The earlier it is, the more influential the potential will be. If you see a player who is 15 with 20+ days until birthday and his value is 20+ million, it’s pretty much guaranteed that his potential is on the high end of promising to formidable. 30+ is more likely into the formidable/enormous range. 10+ is a range for promising and 4-6 mil is the high end of reasonable to low end of promising.

Of course you should use scouts to confirm this because they could be a little above or below those ranges, but potential does make all the difference for 15 year olds. From the last value of 15 and on, it begins to have more of an impact from stats. The rating is not much different from stats as it is derived from the players stats. But potential does make a large impact for the majority of a players youth.

Ah okay, so it is more aimed at the hidden value of potential.

Do key stats have any impact on value?

Obviously I don't expect to be hitting anywhere near those values on LTF

I would like to see player values develop somewhat on my ground and know it is possible from seeing other players having been trained on same LTF.

Maybe if I target key stats and push the necessary training regimes I can see even a moderate value increase?

Sorry for the questions but it cannot be solely based on potential as sometimes I have witnessed high potential players drop off on training and find then on the free transfer market.
