Player Distinction - when is updated ?

Posted in General

Hi everyone !
I have noticed that some of my youths lost their Distinction : Talent today.
When is this thing updated ?
I guess that is based on training, if he gets good / bad trainings he can gain / lose it. Am i correct ?

Updates at 1pm UK time.

Distinctions are given and taken away at this time.

Thank you very much !
And nice team name you have there smiley) Love it!

So i don't open a new topic, can you please tell me if it matters what exercises i chose for training, if i dont have a trainer ? Should i chose training match for everyone ? I should chose personalized trainings anyway ? Or it doesn't matter at all, i need a trainer in order for those to have any effect ?

Thanks !

I wouldn't bother training talents on Small Training Ground.

Wait until at least you've updated your facilities beyond the grounds and into the facilities.

Even the best trainers you find won't help on your ground.

I don't plan on training them long term, but even if i keep them for only 1-2 days i still have to train them. Does it makes any difference if i set them on any training exercise or not ?

I wouldn't bother paying for a trainer on your ground.

I might be wrong but think that without a trainer its not possible to use different training exercises, only the 'training match' exercise is available.

If looking for best possible training score, training match is the best exercises anyway as the '15% rule' is ignored.

From the Noob Bible:
https://www.virtualmanager.com/forums/topics/1224095-the-noob-bible-updated
https://vmanstats.com/manual/training/15-rule/
Noob Bible wrote:
The 15% rule:
A third of a percent is deducted from the training for every 1% of the trained state is higher than the average, after the first 15%.
So, for example, if the trained stat is 45% higher than the average, then the training is reduced by 10%. = (45-15)/3.
In short, you lose training gains if you are training abilities which are already over 15% better than the average of that players total abilities.
If developing players long term it makes sense to use specific exercises to target key stats as opposed to training match alone. E.g. a forwards finishing attribute has a higher weighting for his overall rating, a defenders tackling attribute has a higher weighting for his overall rating etc. For now this wont apply to you as aforementioned if your training facilities aren't yet good enough.

As per the chart above, I believe a player needs to average around 69xp training on your (The Mongols) current training ground in order to gain the talent distinction. I'm not 100% sure but think its the average of the past 5 days.

N.B. I've posted this chart to show what training xp is needed on average to gain a Talent distinction on your ground, and what this training is equivalent to on other training grounds. However, I would completely ignore the 'value' column.

Yea, i have read those, but can't find any info about what i am asking smiley
I can set this : https://prnt.sc/iOKTS1YHXKyg
But does it work ? Or is it useless with no trainer ?
I understand that training players without having a huge TG is bad, so there's no point in hiring a trainer anyway. But, i still have to train them somehow, does it matter how i do it ? Or i should just ignore that part ?

Hawk Tuah (Dionne) 27 January 2025, 23:06
Train without a trainer. Clubs with better grounds pay more for players who haven't used trainers.
