Not 100% sure off the top of my head but I think that only with a trainer you can use custom training exercises, otherwise you can still train your players but it will default to the 'training match' exercise. As per your screenshot, try it and see if the training defaults to training match (with xp split between all 10 attributes).

If your just training to get the highest xp average before selling 'training match' is the best exercise anyway, due to the aforementioned 15% rule. If you were training for increased rating then you would need a trainer and specific exercises.

In short; I wouldn't worry for now, just train on training match, without a trainer.

BUT, how should i train my players ? Should i put them on Training Match exercise ? Should i use specific training plans, even if i dont use a trainer ? Should i ignore that aspect of the game ?

When not using a trainer the players aren't Ina group they are trained on training match

I can use the option for specific training exercises, i just get the exclamation mark where the Trainer should be. No idea what that means, if the exercise works or not whatsoever. I get the same exclamation mark for Training Match exercise.

Btw, how many days it takes to reach WCTF on average ? I already play for 1 week, and i am still far away. Anything else than trading that i can do to rush it ?

I am at LTF and been playing about 15 months

I don't trade much. Got the premium about a year later hit a good youth that I sold for 30 + million invested into training and some semi decent players

It's a grind but it's fun and different from other games

You are right, this game is very different from what i am used to. I love some aspects of it, it totally kicks ass in some regards, but i feel that is missing some core components, compared to what i am used too. I will give it a try, will see how it goes.
