Not me.

(Yeah, I know. Mad innit.
But that's what I signed up for.
30 yrs contract, aged 18, & by the time I got there > they couldn't get out of it smiley )

Normally I’d say that’s retirement at a young age, but I retired before 30.

It’s ok to be jealous. lol

Being retired yourself, I’m sure you understand the complications of having so much time on your hands.

Not at all jealous my friend smiley
I worked very hard for 30yrs, and absolutely feel happy I earned my early retirement.
Not a day goes by that I don't think how lucky I am.
I do hope you feel the same smiley

In the mean time, yes, I have time on my hands, which is why I am able to devote so much to my Crew duties here in VM

If you don't mind me asking, what did you guys do in order to retire that early? Like which jobs did you work at or did you own a business?

SuDoku AFC (Crew Member of the year) Crew 11 April 2025, 12:08
I can only say that I was in public service = working hard for the benefit of everyone else, not myself.
The downside of that is fairly basic wages for 30yrs - and no bonuses!
The upside being that early retirement.
I wouldn't take the same career route if I had my life over again, but, as I said before, not a day goes by without me realising how lucky I am now.
