Alright, quick poll — is anyone still playing FIFA 23 or has everyone jumped to EA Sports FC 24? I’m considering switching, but I’m hearing mixed things about the gameplay in FC 24. Thoughts?
Yeah, I made the switch a couple months ago. Honestly, the rebranding is cool, but gameplay-wise it's not a massive leap. They’ve tried to refine the physics engine, especially with the new HyperMotion V system. Here’s the official page if you want to deep dive: https://www.ea.com/games/ea-sports-fc/fc-24/gameplay .
Career mode got a bit of love too, but Ultimate Team still dominates.
I’ve stayed with FIFA 23 mainly because I’m too invested in my custom career save. Also, FC 24 feels a bit clunky to me — players sometimes move like tanks in tight spaces. Has anyone noticed that or is it just me?
You’re not alone. I played a friend’s copy of FC 24 over the weekend and the player momentum feels way heavier. Passing seems more realistic, but at the expense of some responsiveness. Also, why is the UI still so laggy?
Totally agree on the UI — it’s weirdly sluggish, especially in menus. Also, I tried co-op seasons and matchmaking was painfully slow. Funny enough, between games I killed time on this site I found recently best sweepstakes casino , not bad if you’re into casual slots or table games while waiting for matches.
Haha that’s one way to handle EA’s long queues. I might give it a go. Also, anyone try eFootball lately? I heard it’s making a bit of a comeback after that disastrous 2022 launch.
Tried it last week. It’s... better. Like, a solid 6.5/10. The controls feel tighter than before, and they added more animations. But content-wise, it’s still barebones compared to FIFA/FC. No real career mode yet either.
Yeah, Konami’s slowly patching it into something decent, but it’ll take a while. If they ever drop full offline modes and licensing expands again, I might take it seriously.
