20 in potential is obviously important, but with youngsters when looking for "Reasonable" potential for example does the ability stat matter? tried getting 20/20 for ages but realised it seems pointless and aslong as its 20 ability stat then should be fine?

All my trainers are 20/20 or 20/19 and I have a trainer for each of Keepers, Defenders, Midfielders and Strikers.

I changed my training schedule about a year ago and it definitely made a difference.
This is my schedule (hope it helps).

Keepers
Mon & Tue: Set Pieces (Acceleration 5, One on One 6, Aerial, 6, Diving 6)
Wed & Thu: Handling (Speed 6, Passing 2, Handling 9, Aerial 6)
Fri & Sat: Crossing (Acceleration 7, Leadership 2, Handling 7, Diving 7)
Sun: Technique (Passing 2, Handling 5, One On One 10, Aerial 6)

Defenders
Mon, Tue & Wed: Defensive Training (Speed 9, Leadership 2, Perseverance 2, Tackling 10)
Thu & Fri: Pig In The Middle (Acceleration 10, Passing 9, Stamina 2, Dribbling 2)
Sat: Technique (Passing 6, Finishing 2, Dribbling 6, Tackling 7,
Set Pieces 2)
Sun: Training Match

Midfielders
Mon & Tue: Technique (Passing 9, Finishing 2, Dribbling 8, Tackling 2, Set Pieces 2)
Wed & Thur: Interval Training (Speed 10, Acceleration 3, Stamina 10)
Fri & Sat: Pig In The Middle (Acceleration 4, Passing 9, Stamina 2, Dribbling 8)
Sun: Training match

Strikers
Mon & Tue: Offensive Training (Speed 7, Perseverance 2, Finishing 7, Dribbling 7)
Wed & Thu: Pig In The Middle (Acceleration 7, Passing 5, Stamina 4, Dribbling 7)
Fri: Technique (Passing 4, Finishing 9, Dribbling 4, Tackling 4,
Set Pieces 2)
Sat: Interval Training (Speed 9, Acceleration 9, Stamina 5)
Sun: Training Match

I use hard intensity for all training.
Is this for your youths, senior or all above 18?
I use the same schedule for all players but adjust it for players with 100 stats.
