This is something that EVERONE should think is a great idea (I know...famous last words).
Upgrading to VM PRO helps our developer by providing extra income, and allows us to have more personalisation, but many of us do not bother as it seems a bit expensive for what you get, namely
1. The option to change youth team name
2. The option to change (some) stadium colours
3. The option to slightly (!) personalise team colours
4. Contract assurance so that you don't unnecessarily spend valuable tickets if a player contract runs very tight
5. No ads
Whereas 4 and 5 are welcome, and 1 offers some interest, I think expanding on 2 and 3 is what would really help persuade more people to pay the extra for VM PRO
A. Changing Stadium Colours
Current colour options are very restricted. I would widen the colour palette so that for example, black and white are included, as well as other colours, so if you want yellow, or black or white, you are able to. Ditto stadium patterns - the colour blocks are very restrictive, 3 vertical blocks per stand. More options could be provided like single block colours (same colour for whole stand) or even patterns like chequers or narrower stripes. It would allow players to play around a bit with how they want their stadia to look.
B. Changing Team Colours
The options for strip personalisation are somewhat narrow, disappointingly. A main issue is that only 2 colours are allowed from the provided colour palette. You want a blue symbol on a red and white shirt, not possible. A blue star and a black and white striped shirt, not possible. Hoops (like Celtic strip) not possible. The fine detail doesn't have to be reflected in the match viewer if technically that makes it a no no, but surely it should be able to offer a static picture of your shirt with 3 colours if you are paying a premium for it?
C. Other benefits of VM PRO to make it more attractive
I would propose the following other benefits of upgrading to make it more attractive
1. Option to name stands. Every football ground has its stands named, be that the South stand (many grounds), the Milburn stand (Newcastle), the Sir Bobby Charlton Stand (Manchester Utd), Tribute Auteuil (Barcelona) or Arancio Stand (Milan) etc. This would allow players to pay tribute to their sporting heroes and favourite real grounds within the VM game.
2. Extra friendly fixtures possible each week
3. Maybe some of the benefits that pop up in the advent calendar
