Version 2.1.9 released!

Yesterday we uploaded Virtual Manager version 2.1.9. The upload happened was performed as scheduled.

A couple of weeks ago, we [url=/forum/topics/452154]published the following list of features[/url] included in the release:

Password: Graphical password strength tester on the club creation and login settings pages.
Performance: Database optimisations.
Menu: The tab menu is now displayed correctly on Apple computers.
Newspaper: An entirely new newspaper system which allows users to write articles for the official Virtual Manager newspaper.
Press releases: The press release system has been reworked.
Federations: Federations listed by vifa rank on the federations front page.
Shoutbox: You can now bring up a list of the latest shoutbox messages.
Translation: New translation system. We can now add teams of volunteer translators who can cooperate in adding and maintaining different translations of the site.
Friendlies: It is now possible to arrange friendlies for the following week on Sunday after the weekly season update.
Firing: You can now fire 5 players each day instead of 2.
Substitutions: If you have an assistant manager on your staff, he will now put a substitute player on the pitch if a player in your starting line-up is sold or retires.
Crew: Improved tools for the Virtual Manager crew.
Tactics: If an outfield player is used as a keeper, the team's chances of winning are reduced considerably.
Bug fixes: As always, the update includes a variety of small fixes.

Besides these features, we have also added this:

You can now block specific clubs from sending you mail.
Improved performance on the scout page (faster load times)
New task in the beginner tutorial: You now have to pass an exam in order to earn some Credits to get you going.
The internet address for your club is now shorter and easier to remember: virtualmanager.com/clubs/ID (same goes for matches!)
