New version right around the corner!

We're happy to announce that the next version of Virtual Manager (v2.2.4) is nearly ready to be released.

In this update we've focused a lot of attention on making it super easy to get started in Virtual Manager.
For example, many of the navigation elements have been redesigned to appear more intiutive and more easily accessible. Examples of this include the new club and player profile pages.

The signup process has been made much more inviting and the tutorial for new players has been improved to make it much easier to get a good start and learn how to play Virtual Manager. So, if all goes according to plan, we expect massive numbers of new users to come flocking to Virtual Manager within the next couple of weeks! ;)

Another great addition in the coming version is a change in the way contract expiries are handled. In the future, you will receive the proceeds from the automatic auction that is started whenever a player leaves your club because their contract expired.
We implemented this change to lessen the blow to the clubs who forget to renew their player contracts. This way, they will at least get a fair amount of credits they can use to hire new players.

We also have a some good news for clubs with VM Premium. If you have VM Premium, you will be able to see the total sum of each player's stats when you view their profile. This feature has been requested countless times in the past, so now we've decided to implement it for the clubs who support our game by [url=/shop/premium]getting VM Premium[/url]! :)

Contracts: If a club forgets to renew their player contracts, they will receive the proceeds from the resulting automatic auction when the player leaves the club.
Youth Player: Explanatory help text shown when you've created a youth player.
Shop: You can now buy VM Premium subscriptions - so that your premium is renewed automatically.
Security: Forum banned users can no longer use the article system to create new articles.
Unread mails/new bids notification icons now pulse instead of blink.
Lots of small bugs fixes!
