During the development of this game, we got the feeling that it might become popular. However, we had not dare hope that it would become the most popular December game ever. The first week the game was played by more than 10.000 people!

So to all of you people who have asked us whether the game continues: Yes it will! We have even been working on an improved version: There will be a lot of new plane types, and you will always be able to transport cargo now: newspapers, luxury cars, chemicals and much more. You might also be lucky to get jobs where you must transport VIPs, football team, or business people. These guys usually pay rather well ;)

Should the game continue to be popular (which of course it will ;)), we have a billion ideas on how to improve it further - maybe you have one too? :)

We know some of you feel we should not be fooling around working on games that do not relate to Virtual Manager. The future development of Takeoff will happen outside the Virtual Manager business. So no Virtual Manager resources will be spent on Takeoff at all. So don't worry, we will keep up full steam on Virtual Manager!
