Webserver upgrade

Rasmus Rønn Nielsen, The Dudes 8 August 2012, 10:50

As you may know, we're using the programming language Ruby to make Virtual Manager.

Recently, we found out we could make our development work a bit easier, if we upgraded to the newest version of Ruby, 1.9.3.

Yesterday, I upgraded one of web servers to the use the new version. Today, everything seemed to work perfectly, so I decided to upgrade the rest of the servers also.

According to the programmers of the Ruby language, 1.9.3 should be faster and more stable than the previous version, 1.9.2. I'm not sure we'll feel a big difference on Virtual Manager, but it is better than nothing.

Even though we've tested the new Ruby version for some time, there can still be bugs. If you experience bugs or anything weird at all, please don't hesitate to write a bug report about it.
