A few days ago, striker Dick Gary reached his 1000th cap milestone for Merseyside Mates. Not only is that an impressive achievement, but a testimony of the great significance he has had for the club since his arrival. With his 107 kilograms he is not the typical wide forward, but he makes up for his dimensions with his commitment and enthusiasm.

"Dick's hard. He's big and he's hard. There's no arguing that. He always goes first and dives into it regardless of the conditions. He's tough and ruthless. You know, high-profiled players easily get lazy and don't show up to training for just the slightest issue. That's not him. My Dick always comes. He's ready on all occasions, he penetrates even the toughest defences and once he gets the chance, you can count on him to bang it in" said coach Klopp after todays training.
