City of Ely f.c are trying to fundraise to make £2 million which is required to expand the clubs stadium, and training ground, as well as improve the clubs current playing squad.

The project which will cost exactly £2.13 million, will include funding that includes:

£1.5 million to new training complex.
£380,000 for stadium expansion.
£250,000 for a transfer budget for the new season.

This all sums up to £2.13 million, and this money is set to be raised at the end of the season. The club, who has been selling thousands of pounds worth of players off each day, want to expand these facilities to improve the performance of the players, as well as increase income, and build a stronger squad.

"This project will build a stronger team for the club, for the present, and future. We want to invest more in the clubs facilities as it gives the club a better reputation, and giving the manager more funding will build a stronger squad who can compete at a higher league of football." Quoted Ely Chairman, John.W.Henry.

These expansions are set to go ahead at the end of the season.
