I buy players what I think are good buys and then I get beaten not just once but all the time by teams that have really spent nothing and players are around the 34 year old mark confused any help out there

I'm not sure what you're confused about here. You have younger players who aren't that great against teams that have older players who are much better.

Games are won on the basis of how good players are, not how young they are...
