Removed From League?

I've logged in today and noticed that, since the end of last week's season, I've been removed from the England league system. When I go to the World pages to rejoin the league, it doesn't bring up a "Join league" button, but it does for all the other leagues.

When the season ended, I had sold all my players (intending to rebuild my squad), so I don't know whether I was removed due to having no players, but I've now bought more and the button still hasn't returned.

Any advice?

Neither of these have a join button?

(if not, try this "Join England" )

Via the last. The button did appear on the France page, and a few other nations I'd looked at, but I wanted to rejoin the English league.
