I think the general consensus here is:
4x VIFA points for the base amount
2x VIFA points for the bonus amount
The higher the bonus requirement (your projected finishing place), the more chance you have of getting your offer accepted. Make sure to make multiple sponsorship applications so that you don't get shut out. Start with the above and then make your other applications smaller.
This will get you close. Then, you can tweak things to your own liking.
