What are the odds. But, pretty cool IMO

Congrats to VAR for winning the KNVB Beker cup last season as a team ranked #273. This team won their last 2 games against top 20 teams (my team and Loyals). I think it is pretty cool that something like this can happen in VM. I was pretty shocked when my team lost to them, as I just assumed I was going to win and move on to the championship. But they pulled off another huge upset to win the championship.....pretty cool.

I know some people here (or in the recent past) gripe about upsets in VM. But, huge upsets happen in the real world and this game would be completely boring without them.

Agree, and it's definitely the case that cup competitions throw up the upsets. Historically, I've lost semi-finals and finals I should have won, but, also won games as the weaker team on paper.
