is it just me or does the market seem really dry these past few days? seems to be players you could pick up for like 500k are now selling for over 700k for example.... the old supply and demand i guess

Same here... But as a side note it made for good business on the tl players I had, whereas last week was better for buying. Seems not even this week I'll have a team to register in a league
Fell short last Sunday by a player or two... Will continue to trade for a bit but it's just boring

Higher rated older players going for less than market values. Bought some and sold some, and that's been my experience.
