National team cup

Every four seasons the national cup could take place and the manager of each national team could be selected by the manager that wins the top league of that nation.

E.G the winner of the premier league would be able to select himself or another person if time is a problem to manage the national team by picking the players and tactics for the national side.

This would be a good incentive to win the top leagues in each country, they could also make a trophy for the world cup that could be included in a managers history and also a national medal for each manager selected to represent.

It would also be good for any manager who has players in national sides to watch each game and see how there players are performing.

There would be an issue for a players energy and also whether the manager would want his player to play in the world cup. I am sure there could be a system where the selected manager could send player requests to the players managers whether each player could be taken to the world cup that would give everyone a choice.

To give an added incentive to managers who have the option to send there player to the world cup they could receive a player bonus for each round there player advances through the world cup.

The cup could be throughout the week with just a complete knockout process instead of having a group stage to minimise the games each player would have to play.

If it would hinder the chances of teams to do well in their own league then maybe this idea could be just for under 21 players so it wouldnt effect the first team progress of each manager.

Let me know what you think about this idea and also any extra suggestions or problems!
