How much money do you have left?

What are your current players worth?

How do you enjoy playing the game? (training youth; senior players; climbing leagues)

Okay so let's build you a plan.

If you sold your players today and started fresh you'd have around 12 million credits to play with. You have LTF training facilities and a 6.4k stadium.

From the way you like to play the game lets assume you want to grow your training facilities, stadium, and playing squad in tandem. Long term working towards the picture of having a top division squad, world class training facilities and a large stadium. All this takes money. Money you need to generate over a period of time. We just need to be efficient about the way we handle this.

You can generate money through 3 routes:
- Training and devolping players (transfer profit over a period of montgs)
- Climbing leagues (tickets, prizes, sponsors)
- Flipping players (transfer profit over a period of months)

First and foremost, you need to be making the most out of your training facilities. Here's how:
- Buy younger players (say around 24yo)
- Buy players who have good training scores (say 120%+ on black)
- Develop these players over a period of time through training
- Hire 4 trainers (one for each position)
- Sell players before they hit 30 (I assume the sweetspot is 27-28yo)

When looking for players to buy, dont worry too much about their rating. Look for players who are high in abilities and have good training scores. These players will generally have a very even stat distribution which i will example later. You will be able to mold these players into good, high rating and valueable players over time and will definitely be able to sell them for healthy profits.

In addition, your gate receipts and other incomes will rise every week as you continue to train these players and you wont have to worry about retirement or anything. Once you restart your team you will take a temporary hit in league position but over time you will climb and climb. Ideally you want to start expanding your stadium once the new team can consistently sell out at 7c/8c ticket prices.

What type of players to buy?

Lets use this guy as an example: https://www.virtualmanager.com/players/12612077-danilo-savchyn
He has a very healthy training score and a good number of stats compares with players similar age, price and rating. As you can see his stat distribution is pretty even. This means he's been poorly trained which is why his rating is low. But you can fix that and profit from it.

How to train this player?
Very very easy.
Using a trainer. Offensive training. Maximum Finishing. And the rest on Dribbling. Every day.
You should be playing matches at a low-medium tempo and training at Intense-Hard effort. Ideally find a balance where at the end of each day player's energy isnt lower than 90%

Over the course of three months you can get that player to around 70-75 rating and roughly be worth 3million in market value. That give 2.3mil profit just in transfer fees over three months. On one player. Add in all the tickets and other money youll be making along the way and your bank balance will build up in no time at all.

Have 4 training groups set up:
Keepers: Alternate between (Technique training - Max Handling, rest Aerial) and (Set Pieces - Max diving, rest One on One)
Defenders: Defensive Training - Max Tackling, rest on Speed
Midfielders: Pig in Middle - Max Passing, rest on Dribbling
Forwards: Offensive Training - Max Finishing, rest Dribbling

I agree with a lot of the above, but main objective would be training facilities. I'd also look at low cost 16-17yo talents, develop, add value and sell on. That's how I raised the money for WCTF. Takes a while, but can be done.

thank you Rhythm and Lowood,

I hope other players can use the information and ideas to help themselves too.

Because I found them great, exactly what I was looking for.

Funny how goals change. My goal was to reach LTF also and then I was going to start building a roster of players with higher values to compete in a few seasons. But, when I hit LTF, I then decided to go for ETF.

Now that I reached ETF, I am actually working on my roster. 50m credits for PTF is just a little out of my reach right now and I am tired of chasing the almighty training facility upgrade. So, I have decided to build a roster of 24 year olds for a 4 month run (4 player years). Then, I will sell off my team when the players hit 28 yo, upgrade to PTF and then start all over about 5 months from now with youthful players...LOL.

I just can't quit obsessing about upgrading training facilities.
