His trainings are a lot higher then any of the others so not sure if he is a good player or not?

Hard to say cos you're trainers are actually scouts so they lose 50% effectiveness ...

It doesn't matter that they have high stats, if you use a scout as a trainer they are only 50% effective so if his abilities are 20, because you changed his job the abilities are now 10
