Some years back there was an effort to get the oldest player. Basically, buy a player the put on 1c auction for 24 hours. Someone else would buy and repeat. Player s on auction couldn't be retired. It was a bit of fun but as I recall got deliberately undermined by a club.

I'd suggest that you get a group of clubs prepared to buy and then immediately transfer list. And work together. But, you'll probably get someone who tries to scupper the ambition.
