Biggest disappointment

I can't recall alot of players I lost big on but right now I have a player, Julian Brandtner who has spent 13 years with the club and continues to stink the joint out with stench of failure. Whilst he only cost 6.8million, he reminds me most of all, of the folly of investing in youth

I generated a player with my very peculiar name (only family to have the surname in the UK) and he was promising bordering on the line of formidable. Had him listed for ages at like 22m or something like that from when he was young and only showing reasonable/promising. When he got to about 18 or so, someone bought him and I’ve hated my self since However since then I had taken a month or two away from the game anyway so it was maybe a good thing

EDIT - Absolutely in no way shape or form is this a hard luck story. But it is something that has bothered me on the game ever since it happened

I don't know if it's a disappointment as such but I missed out on a quadruple by one match in season 2022-16. Lost in the Super Cup final. Was actually pleased about the season but I don't know if I'll ever get that close again.

Youth level for 3 seasons in a row they won the premier,fa cup and World Cup but failed to win the super in those 3 seasons, would have been the first youth team to win the quad but they failed 3 seasons in a row
